Let the healing begin...

Now, About Julie...
I have been in the helping profession for the past 33 years and spent 16 years of my career as the Clinical Director and a Therapist at Rockford Sexual Assault Counseling. I aslo spent 8 years teaching and counseling in the college or university setting. In my private therapy practice, I work with clients who have various struggles including sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, as well as eating disorders, self-injury, addictions, relationship issues, sexual orientation issues, and self-esteem. I work with adoloescents and adults, individuals, couples, and families.
I am often asked what the letters after my name represent. They mean that I have a masters degree in both counseling and social work, and that I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. The ACS shows I have earned the national credential, Approved Clinical Supervisor. But what is probably most important to you is that my life has taken its own challenging (and often interesting) path and as a result I have compassion and understanding for those who are struggling with their own journey.
Summary Of Qualifications:

- Masters of Science in Social Work from UW-Madison
